How to Make Protein Iced Coffee with Whipped Coffee Daily Shake

Looking for a protein iced coffee you can prepare without brewing espresso? Whipped Coffee Daily Shake is a coffee-flavoured, plant-based formulated meal replacement. Its jar directions use cold water, so you can make a cold coffee-style shake with a shaker and a measured serve of powder.

This guide uses the product's cold-water directions. If you are comparing different kinds of protein coffee, keep in mind that a ready-to-drink bottle, a protein-only supplement and a formulated meal replacement have different ingredients and uses.

The cold-water method

For the 500g Whipped Coffee jar, you need:

  • 50g Whipped Coffee Daily Shake powder, following the measuring guidance on the pack.
  • 300ml cold water.
  • A clean shaker with enough room for the liquid and powder to move.
  1. Add the cold water to your shaker.
  2. Add the measured powder, secure the lid and shake until completely dissolved.
  3. Pour into a glass if you prefer and consume immediately.

For a sachet, follow the serving and mixing directions printed on that pack. Measuring by weight is useful when checking a jar serve because the amount held by a scoop can vary with how it is filled.

Do I need to add coffee?

No extra coffee is needed for the labelled cold-water preparation of Whipped Coffee Daily Shake. Adding espresso or cold brew changes the taste, liquid quantity and caffeine in your drink. Establish whether you enjoy the product as directed before experimenting with additional coffee.

Coffee flavour alone does not tell you a drink's caffeine content. Check the current label and take other caffeine sources in your day into account. We have not assigned an espresso-equivalent or a caffeine amount to this method.

Can I use milk instead of water?

The jar directions specify cold water. Milk or a plant drink changes the flavour, creaminess and nutrition, so the nutrition panel for powder mixed with water will not describe the finished milk-based drink. Check the instructions on the pack you have before making a substitution.

If you are choosing a plant drink, compare its ingredients and nutrition panel. Different drinks can have quite different protein, sugar and energy values.

How do I prevent a lumpy protein coffee?

Use a shaker with enough empty space and break up visible powder clumps before measuring. Add water first, then powder, and shake thoroughly. A spoon can leave dry pockets, especially in a narrow glass. Use the labelled water amount first rather than reducing it sharply for a thicker drink.

Can I make it hot?

Whipped Coffee Daily Shake's directions are for cold preparation. Do not assume the same method applies to boiling water or that a sealed shaker is suitable for hot liquid. If you want a hot drink, choose a product specifically intended for hot preparation and follow its directions.

Jar, 10-sachet pack or two single sachets?

  • Jar: useful for measuring serves at home. The 500g Whipped Coffee jar provides ten labelled 50g serves.
  • 10-sachet pack: individually portioned powder for a routine or for taking with you.
  • Two single sachets: a smaller first purchase to explore the flavour.

Is this the same as a regular coffee?

No. Whipped Coffee is a formulated meal replacement rather than plain coffee. Use it for the role stated on the label as part of a varied diet; it is not a total diet replacement. A coffee-only drink or protein-only powder should be judged by its own label too.
